I am sure we are all aware of the severe restrictions imposed on vintage jets at air displays following the Shoreham Hunter crash in 2015. According to yesterdays Sunday Express (not the most reliable source of information but usually good regarding aviation matters) the restrictions limiting the aircraft to just flypasts is to be eased and straight wing jets such as the Vampire, Meteor, JP etc will be allowed to perform aerobatics this season. Unfortunately for swept wing jets such as the Hunter, Sabre etc the flypast limitation still applies.
I read the pilot from Shoreham has been charged with manslaughter as well as endangering an aircraft.
