Recently reported as an investment of over 1M, it didn't stop Sky completely fouling up the first transmission, initially widely stating it would be broadcast (not live) at 18.00, then with 15 mins to go changing that on their website to 21.00, then displaying it in the online guide timeline as 21.00 start but in the 20.00 - 21.00 slot, and finally showing it at 22:00- 23:00, while showing a recorded programme for young kids who should not be up to see it in the 21.00 - 22.00 slot.

One can only hope that whoever was responsible for that huge steaming pile of faeces has lost their job.

And the one last night stated as 21:00, shown at 22:00. Obviously Sky is in another time zone (or planet)

DRL is winding up towards a second series.

Lets hope that Sky manages to actually put the transmissions out when they say they are for a change.

Also, there is a free DRL Simulator, which is very very good for a Freebie, and reasonably accurate as to flying requirements.

There are Training and Freestyle modes.

The DRL website says,

"Watch the 6 races of the 2017 Allianz World Championship this June on ESPN, Sky Sports, and Prosieben MAXX."

So I guess for us it's Sky Sports.  ESPN is an American sports channel, and I haven't a clue what "Prosieben MAXX" is - maybe something you take for a stomach disorder?   :''

I watched the 2016 races some time after the events (maybe December?) when they were shown on one of the 'regular' Sky channels - I don't have Sky Sports (other than Sky F1.)

What is it with narrow minded twerps who feel the need to deride any aspect of the hobby they aren't personally into?  It's little wonder that this forum is a complete deadhole.
