Horus X12S gyro
« on: October 29, 2017, 08:57:38 AM »
Hi guys.
So does anybody know how to set up the G_ROLL & G_PITCH function under FrOS, where you can control the model by tilting the Tranny ? With the ability to switch it off in flight, sounds mad to me, but would like to try it !!

 Cheers.

I did set it up on mine when I first got it and it worked well on the bench, but I never flew with it. This was over twelve months ago and I changed to OpenTX shortly after, and have never back. It was simple to set up, but I can't remember exactly how I did it.

Have it set up on a test plane on a switch so I can flick it on and off........

Think it would be a brave man to actually try and fly a plane on it though !!

Hahaha !!

Trouble is I haven't got a cheap foamie at the mo, hate paying good money for packaging material !

Have an old Zagi though, but need to spend a bit of time working out the programming on a flying wing so I can switch the gyro in and out.

Have this mental picture of flying round on the gyro and having a quick glance say at the wind sock and tilting the tranny as you turn to look...... Ooops.
