Steve o

We usually start at 19:00 BST, we have a couple of foreign visitors who are somewhat in front of us time wise.

But we'll see what response we get to this post for a fight on Tuesday.

ANYBODY UP FOR A FIGHT ON TUESDAY NIGHT?

That should grab their attention........... ;D  ;D  ;D

PS IF this is a goer, there will NOT be a fight on Wednesday.

How about a poll on best night and then best time , I don't know how to set a poll up so this will be up to you expert forum members :af

I might try to host myself but the pc is a bit on the old side need to keep shovelling coal in the back  ;D

Have hosted on the original IL2 on UBI com but I cannot have more than 6 as it starts to lag bad,  there are some hints and tips regarding having all the aircraft available parked on the map which aids spawning and  stops lag.  I will do some investigation  :co

YB and all,

I will be quite happy for someone else to host a game. That way, I get to play also on the co-op type missions.
Also gives me more time to develop NEW more dastardly missions for you guys....... :ev

It was good tonight.......thanks guys  :co  :co  :co

I think it certainly improves the pace of the game to have 'Aerial Spawning'

I know it's not very realistic but it's ideally suited for a 'simple shoot em up'..... :af

Now all we need to do is get KDC, FF, RCfan, Imagedktr online and it will be really hectic, I can't wait..... :)  :)  :) It was very good with 5 but would be so much better with 9.

Thanks again for taking part... :af  :af  :af  Lets try for 10 next week........

Yeah sorry guys, it was a normal afternoon then everything went crazy  :-[
sorry...

Glad to hear that the aerial spawning went ok.

Perhaps it´s better to have just one gameday a week as we might spread to thin if we where to play 2 days a week  ! ?

Really wanna be on next week !

Sounds like you guys had a blast  :af :af

cheers

At present, my feelings also, if we get more than say 12 regular players then maybe that's the time to look at it.

We just need to keep spreading the word....... :af  :af  :af

We modelers have it more difficult than other non modelling online players. I mean the time you spend playing online could be time spent building. Perhaps there are more IL player on here that feels that the precious build they have get too compromised..  Fine balance thing....
I´m sure there are many more players on RCMF  :af

Just a thought. I myself think this way sometimes but I always chose to go online and play, never regret that. Too much fun !!
Until you get totally creamed by a AA or someone else  ;D

As you sometimes run Aces games are they just fb+ae games or are they fb+ae+pf merged , would like to have some RCMF room fun with Messerschmitts  :af

YB,

When we play Forgotten battles we use V4.01m which, as you rightly suspect is the merged version of FB, AEP and PF.

All the relevant patches are in the same place as the PF ones. You can have both versions pn your P.C. at the same time, just install as normal and they sort themselves out. Different icons on your desktop.

See you Wednesday........

Looking forward to you and KDC getting it on....
