Wow . longtime no see. been AWOL from the forum playing il2 all the time , even left the models in storage since last year.

Obviously, I should hold my head in shame ... but been having lots of fun... now it's holiday time the nicads are going on charge, the engines will be run and I am looking forward to that smell of burn castor.

I could be persuaded.....

What IL-2 series game in particular is being used now then?  :-\
(I have them all but the original IL-2 is not installed because FB onwards is much better).

Also I have Pacific Fighters installed over the top of FB(AEP). Does either need to be standalone to join in?? :-[

I need a new witty signature...

Some of us had the full merged install, but others only had Pacific Fighters, so we would use that.  Just have to make sure we're all patched to the same level, though development of iL2 has slowed a bit now, what with the Battle of Britain project.

Not been on iL2 for a long while, been playing GT Legends  :-X

Just moved house, got the broadband ready but need a wireless USB for my PC.  Long story, basically the phone socket is nowhere near the PC, but I use a wireless router.  Hoping to "liberate" one from work.  If so I'll be around Saturday.  I'll keep watch on here...

Consider looking at IL-2 1946

It includes all previous add-ons and expansions ( fb, ace expansion, pacific fighters etc) all in an easy install with no stupid version number variations, and should be available cheapish. I have mine running on steam.

I do also still have my separate fb and pacific fighters disks in case we end up running standalone.

Also, Ive been doing Lock On for a few years, if anyone plays, but learning curve is steep.

Hello Guys.  My sons have an early version of Sturmovik and a Thrustmaster joystick. Can you post some of your game footage or a link to some of your footage on youtube please?
This sounds like great fun.

Yup - Am still around!

I have il2:forgotten battles, Ace expansion pack, pacific fighters standalone or il2 1946 with everything in. The troubles gonna be trying to get everyone on the same version. I suppose we do it the democratic way.

:)Any more of you with IL:2 forgotten battles / pacific fighters / IL:2 1946?  :D
