Information required please!  Can anyone describe their own cutter for this useful job?  Either home made or bought.
Thanks,
Sean S.

So have I. Simple and works well. Each full turn of the screw moves the blade exactly 1/32 inch.

I have the SLEC(?) one.
Width of strip set by packing pieces, cutter runs in 1metre long aluminium channel.  I have mounted it on a bit of mdf and have cut up to 1/4"x1/4".  Sorry no pictures.

However, hadn't seen the one DW and the chaps have before and that seems much more useful/handy.

I will be getting one next time I visit SMC.

The Master stripper with a piece of 3/16 square balsa glued to the underside to give an angled cut is what I used on the Mifchell. After a few hiccups at first I soon got used to it. The only disadvantage I can see is when you have got over halfway across a sheet you have to be careful not to get tapered strips as the sheet bends while cutting it. (3/32 soft balsa)

hadn't realised the one I use is SLEC, ally channel with plastic gadget that slides along it, mine is mounted on a long strip of plastic coated 15mm MDF

the width is set with plastic inserts and is a bit of a fiddle to use, but very useful when building from plans/home-brews
