here's one for the researchers - I'm rebuilding a Gladiator, and looking for a different colour scheme I came across some Chinese machines http://cwlam2000hk.sinaman.com/caf34.htm which are tempting, but a bit vague.  Does anyone have a reference for Chinese aircraft markings with a bit more detail than this site?

thanks for trying Mark , I guess they're so badly documented I could get  away with anything with a Chinese sun on one wing and some blue and white stripes on the rudder :af  Now all I need is some detail on that Chinese sun...

Thanks for that, the prints I've found look as though the the actual 'dark green' varied a lot in shade and application, though that may be artistic license.  I've seen one which appears to be silver undersides with a green top.  As it's more of a stand-off scale model, i can be pretty liberal in my interpretation. is my favourite.
