The later versions have version 3 software but even that dates from around 2000.

Basic Research is what I do - when I don't know what I'm doing!.

Connect your 3030 to a PC and you can find the date from there IIRC......

Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool......

Hi Gavin

Just e mail Multiplex direct with the serial No. of your Tx and ask them. They'd know if anyone does! If I remember correctly though, there have been 3 "versions" of the 3030. The first ones had something like 20 or 30 memories, with gold logos and writing on the case. These will probably date from 1992 onwards. The second versions were named "Master Edition" and retained the gold logos/writing on the case, but had a 100 memory capacity. These (I think) will date from around 1994 to 2000 ish. Finally came the (until recently) current version, with green logos on the case, as per the Mc4000.

As has already been pointed out, there were very few software updates throughout the 3030's production run.
