Gemini on MPX reccomended power set.

Who else here is flying their Gemini on the "standard" MPX power set (Himax 2816-0890 and 10x5 APC-E) ? If you are, how would you describe its performance ?
A certain character over on RCG has described it as only good for "tootling about" on the standard motor, which suggests to me that he's still talking from the point of view of someone who's Gemini is still in its box, and only ever flies overpowered 3D models.

The Gemini is quite powerful on the standard setup. There are some videos on the internet showing a very short take-off and lively aerobatics on the standard set. However it's not 3-D, it can't prop-hang. For a more 3-D style of performance, you need the 'Gemini Tuning' power set, which is the Acromaster motor. The Gemini Tuning setup is overpowered by any reasonable measure - but great fun! That's what I have. The heavier Gemini Tuning motor also balances the model better than the standard motor. Most people have found that the standard motor demands the addition of nose weight to get the centre of gravity anywhere near the correct point. But either setup is great, the Gemini is a terrific plane.
