Just a heads up - during an epic day with Roger, Steve and some lads from Bristol, I dumped my beautiful Balistik  :banghead: :banghead: on the cliff side of the far eastern side of the Crest. :'( :'( :'(

If anyone is brave/crazy enough to get it I would be most grateful.  You can tell it's mine, it's got my name on it! :af

Mark.

So with Sundays weather forecast not looking very favourable for flying, and a 4mph northerly forecast for tomorrow, is it even worth the trip to fly the VR98? $%&

Makes me wish I still had my Blaster - always the backup of choice for low/no wind days.
I will get a replacement in or before the spring...

I think Mark is heading up about mid day - I will do the same and will chuck the EG pro in along with the carbon and glass. (if I could find the battery I'd even chuck the alula in).

Being the Bwlch - it could be anything from 4 to 15 up top - and with or without thermals.

Might need to be very careful of the lanes heading up the Meio Steve, lots of snow and ice here right now.  If it eases up, I'll see you there. :af

Rare midweek day off.

Sunny weather and absolute easterly forecast - It has to be the Crest. Hopfully more than the 8mph up top that is forecast for the bottom - Its going to be a snowy yomp - and at zero degrees without the wind chill - it will be a full Fladon floatation suit day with pocket warmers and chilli chicken soup at the ready. Going to take the HD video cam and maybe a tripod - and see what happens... Cant wait   :D
