Absolutely a beautiful job you did on this rebuild.I have one in the box ready to build. You were a good inspiration. By the way I'm looking for the chap that makes the landing gear for the pup. I would like to order one. Also if you decide to sell some of the fittings and cockpit detail I would be interested. Thanks Tailskid

I hope you have a lot of fun putting it together. I have really enjoyed this project.
I am sure the U/C maker will be along soon.

Small film of my pup yesterday.

It was a windy day by the time I flew it.

Still over the moon with the maiden flight.Makes all the work worth it.

So who sells very tinny slot headed screws . I need ones to replace the small MR Philips headed ones in my wings. I just can't seem to find really small ones.

Also has anyone got any detail pics of the wire holding the cowl on. I would like to do this but I just do not see how it works looking at the pictures I have got.
What are you guys using to create the dummy engines .  I was looking at the MR one, is that the best way to go.

mmmm Don't stand next to me if you fly a 1/3rd scale Pup.

in the space of nine months from Oct '07 to July '08, three pups were destroyed when the pilot was standing next to me...

Gotha lost his pretty red/white/blue one at Luton, then Squarehead at Wings & Wheels and then Ceejay at Cosford...

....and I was thinking of building one too, perhaps not now...  ::) ::) ::)

Where is all the photos Chris.   $%&  Looking forward to seeing it come together.
To windy to take my one out for a sortie this weekend.
Not sure to do the dummy engine next or make a start on the cockpit. had to spend a few days catching up on the maintenance of my other models as they have taken a back seat recently.

Hi Glen
I used 5/8 diameter flex . Seems to be plenty big enough as there dose not appear to be any reduction in RPM compared to everyone else.
