YouTube - First meet of 2009

Not one of my best efforts, didnt get a lot of spare time to do the editing and was a nightmare trying to get it to download onto you tube, couple of the sub titles went out of sequence for some reason.
Good enough for an insight into the day untill i get some more time to edit it properlly

Didnt get a huge amount of e2k, ill have to throw the camera at someone else next time i race, unfortuanatlly the cameras to heavy to tape to my crash hat

  im trying, havent had a lot of time as you know.
got dammed hard trying to spin around with the camera on the rough bits of ground, filming duncans one at no 1 it was just as well the cage was there to stop me from falling over lol

must admit it is possible to get the camera mounted on top of my crash hat providing i use a chin strap, and dont lean over to one side too much

well try it out next time we set the practice course up, should be interesting

cheers Norman, its not the best cam corder in the world and ive only got a basic editing programme and didnt get much time to edit, next one should be better, and hopefully i wont miss all the best bits 

Ive managed to get just a bit little better at editing the videos, the NASA MAXPOLY e2k VIDEO has been re-vamped, the only thing I couldnt get hold of was the air stewardess's from virgin.

Test flew the mk5 wasp on sunday, friggin cold and windy, a nice hairy start as i forgot the spectrum expo is the opposite from futaba, doh!!!
tried out one of those cheap key fob video camera strapped to the nose, it was no good for looking through the prop as it creates the horizontal lines, but it does show potential to get some good footage from racing, either looking behind or down the wing to the pylons

Now the planes trimmed ill get the camera rigged under the wing and if the weathers good enough ill try and get some low level footage next Sunday

Just a play around with the on board video camera, interference on last video was defiantly caused by the prop and not electrical, ill make up a small streamlined pod to fit on the top of the fuzz looking back at the tailplane for race day

That seems to work pretty well 

Trouble is with the camera facing backwards you'll need to be in front to get any racing footage 

Ok I suppose you might get me if its got a zoom lens

Cheers Steve,   it looks like its the tame photo, im sure the one i saw had something about to go in your ear  nicks viewing through the FPV goggles, quite easy to simulating G force by pulling the chair about
