You can have a throw if you like, as long as it's not one of those gay flick of the foot types :ev :ev

Piccies attached, just finished the covering and mounted the motor to see what she looks like.

Colour scheme runs in line with my Gremlin which is very visible in all weather conditions.

i have been watching this with interest, and indeed looking into e2k as a whole. one question tho, would these models (with minor alterations) make good fast leccy hack models?? i'm thinking the main mod would be to add some cooling to the fuz. i dont plan on racing but i do fancy a fast leccy model on the cheap  :D

i would like to see one in the flesh as most if not all the videos i have seen you cant really see the model that well, just a fast little thing darting about :D but i spose thats what i want so.........

cheers

nick

nick, have a look in the thread for the wasp kit and some of the pics stueys posted for cooling

as a hack model im sure steve will hopfully give you an anwser when hes test flown his.

but yes it would, if youre not racing it im sure you could streamline her a little more, cloud models would make any wing you want, narrower chord, thinner, different section, sweep etc.
itll twinkle roll and do square corners with ease, and compared to lighter electric airframes shell go up in a gale force quite happilly as she is without any modifications, longer flights shell take the bigger battery

steve, she wont need a hard push off with the e2k power train, shell feel like shes trying to rip out of the launchers hands............looks nice

cheers

Yeah I got that feeling when I just plugged her in and ran the motor.

It's not going to take much.

What movements do I need?

I'm looking at 4mm all round is this a good test flight setup?

My CoG has come out on the rearward setting is this a problem?? I like rearward anyway!

;D about 6mm high aileron and 4mm lower(or lower) elevator at 4mm with a rear ward c of g, you just might change your mind about rear c of g ;D ;D

honest it wasnt to bad, if you could come forward a tadge it would be better, it can be possible to stall the wings with too much up elevator at top speed.............overall you should find it tame, just gain height as normal and play....tbh there dosent seem to be any bad habits, stall is benine
6mm aileron should give good role rate 8mm should be twinkles

have fun  :af

Luckily i have 3 positions for rates so i'm going for 8, 6, 4 mm on ailerons. 3,4,5mm on Elevator.

I've jiggled the pack about and got that fitting better to, which moved the cog forward nicely.

Roll on tomorrow!!
