Blimey, was it really over 2 years ago i built my wee plane! :o

My wee bird now has a power train, a motor up front, carbon dowels expoxied in today to take bands for the wing.

Wheels to add yet and the speed controller to fit.

Looking at it.I am impressed with myself. Though, mods do need making to it. Like.. more room in the fuz is needed me thinks.

My aim is to get this finished now as she has sat gathering dust for long enough and it is about time i finished something i have built.  I seem to have an aversion to finishing things i start re putting together or building. I do actually have 2 other planes which are partway through putting together and i must get round to finishing them at some point.

There's a psychological thing known as 'fear of finishing' - it comes from an irrational fear of not being needed for anything else once this job is done.

I get it as w

Oh, hang on - it isn't 'fly it like you borrowed it, land it like you stole it', is it!
So that's where I've been going wrong...

Fear of Finishing

The fear of finishing is quite interesting, as most of us procrastinate about getting started. Fear of finishing is closely tied to the fears of success and failure, in that the project will be "judged" upon completion, which will lead to either success or failure. There is also a fear of the emptiness upon completing the project, which can be especially prevalent if it’s been worked on for a long period of time

Shorter landing and take off than RC planes, they are ridiculous.
