Just a reminder for anyone who is interested in things electric, RADMAC have their yearly electric event this Sunday.  Here are the details:-

Raydon & District Model Aircraft Club, signposted Notley Enterprise Park, CO7 6QD off A12 near Capel St Mary.  All electric welcome.  Good grass field with charging facilities, refreshments, BBQ etc.  Contact David Jowers on 01473-723081

There will be signs in the last mile or so directing you to the South entrance of the Notley Business Park.

And the burgers, I hear you ask, are they any good?    Answer  :af  :af

OK, the weather is all sorted now.  Yesterday it looked a bit iffy, but today the Met Office have now completely changed their minds to 9mph Westerly and sun.  I think we should stick with this one.

Met Office: Ipswich: forecast weather

The rising hot air of people talking about batteries should help dispell any stray clouds as well.

Yes Stuey bring the whole flock of them along for a burger, it will save you a having to take them out to lunch!

Indeed it was a good day  :af.  It was a pity that they failed to attract anywhere near the same number of  visitors as last year.  Maybe they thought there were too many last year ?

I would like to say a big thank you to all at RADMAC for a great day out, bit of a haul for me, nearly three hours each way but well worth it, met some great people and spent most of the day chatting which is great. Even had a flight with the Sea Fury and Hurricane thrown in for good measure.

Indeed it wasn't a huge turnout, but its not always the quantity that makes a good day  :''

Hearing Johns Merlin equipped MkIX Spitfire burst out from behind the buildings to an unsuspecting audience was simply awesome. Wish I had thought to take sun block  :co

Thanks again

Danny
