cor  fame at last,  :co    some great flying, superb models,  weather started crap, but soon came around,    Alis cub was simply aw some,   full size glider was amazing,

Sadly, we had a noteable drama, when a poor guy collapsed, and seemingly died,     don't know many details,  but Rugsleys wife, a nurse, brought him back to life,   air ambulance landed, worked on him, and whisked him, off,      fingers crossed for the poor guy,  don't know who it was,  more details will surface sunday, i dare say,  this all happened after the show had shut,

one more thing,  the bring and buy seemed an IMENSSE success,  the guys where shorthanded, and worked their socks off!!   hundreds of items in there,  worth going for that alone

CU tomorrow night,    remember, YT tent, bring donuts :nananana: and  MONEY!!!  :banghead:

I never spotted you there Chrissy ! I make a point of looking out for people I know as well .

Alan was there also another "moment" as when I was leaving (parked almost next to the swapmeet tent ) people were running around with fire extinguishers as one of the large skip size bins was on fire . probably the result of some prat lobbing a fag end in it !
What you want more do-nuts for ? You had enough in your car to keep the forum going for a week !  ;D ;D ;D

Nice shots Chrissy  :af

Didnt hear of anything,  we had a skip fire at the nats, caused by a disposable barby being cobbed in the skip,  might be the same thing?                 as for the donuts, REDSHAW ETUM ;copper;

A great show according to my son Ciaran who spent the week-end working on the PTA stand. He managed to get just enough time out of the stand to shoot a few images. This one I really like.

Thanks Linds, I wasnt sure. I have some photos now, but taken with a Panosic Lumix Compact, they are no where near as good as the ones in this thread! Nice for my own scrap albums ( discs).

Ali's large Cub, made the World Models 1/4 scale one look a bit tiny! The WM 1/3 scale I used to think was massive. Too big for me at that size! 1/2 scale Ali's? am I right?

The A10 simply awesome, the Thrust Vectoring - wonderful. All the lovely WW1 machines near the end on Sunday were excellent. Lots more - very good.

Bombing run was loud. I used to fly in one of those regular. Not too different to that one. Lawrence's (RIP) bombs were home made and similar. Very good, my little Freddy's favourite bit!

Excellent show, thanks to everyone taking part that made it great for the public ( including myself as public - we were not trading etc).

Wonderful

Steve

Well,
my first UK model show for lots of years, and my wifes first ever. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole weekend, although it was cold and wet overnight from Friday to Saturday - it made the camping experience more enjoyable  :-X

Took lots of pictures, several shown below - I need to edit most as they are too large.

Met up with Metal Mickey, and he's almost talked us into coming over again for the Hop Farm show, we'll have to see how the finances go  $%&

Almost got a chance to speak to Mr Redshaw as he squeezed past us to exit the show line on Sunday, but I could see he was otherwise busy getting ready to fly.

Hopefully the next time we come over, we'll meet a few more forumites, speshully if I put our picture on here before we come over, And also hope Mr DB of DB sound finds something better/more to say than the cost of Alis "turn the key to switch on" models  :''

Tuesday update - now managed to edit some pics - so reloading

Happy Landings

Bill
