I was looking down the list of aircraft flying at Waddington and noticed a English Electric Lightning listed with 5 AC Sqn RAF Waddington... does anyone know if this is just a fast taxi ????.

she,s xr770  former 5sqd flagship with red tail & spine .was donated to grimsby & is now privately owned i think & has now been loaned to 5sqd for 10 years ,so i think see will be static only.
would be nice to she the old girl spark those avons & go vertical but no chance will have to live on my memories
