Well it finally got to fly, had a week away and managed to get 8 flights on her so far.

initial issues were nose heavy (with no lead in the front) so had to move the batteries back, axle not strong enough, tyres not staying on (normal issue) but now evostuck on. Other than a bit of uptrim no other trim required, she could do with a bit more power, as most of the flight is on 3/4 throttle (Z62).

Other than that it's a delight to fly

she looks great, no doubt you are well chuffed with her, when and where will the first "public outing" be ? No doubt you will fly at cosford :af

There are only two types of model aircraft, those that have crashed and those that are going to cras

I was there, right from the maiden flight it looked just right :af

Mind you, every time Steve came out on the flight line we all started getting ready for the rain, does he have this effect wherever he flies :nananana:

Steve....

Brilliant Job.......it should keep the crowds entertained at Euroflugtag.  :af :af :af

Have you any video of it posted anywhere yet?

After seeing one of Pats engines, finished and detailed, it almost makes me wish I had picked a German subject instead of the Nieuport 17.

Cool, so a Z62 on a gearbox for a Pfalz D12 would be fine then...  :study:
