And you didn't DS it in the quarry where we were pitting? Don't blame you though as most attempts end in disaster. It can be done though although circuits have to be pretty tight.

Flew mine today on the Icecream slope in Wales. Naughty naughty little bugger it is! Goes far faster than it reasonably should! It's quite interesting in that below a certain speed the control response from the wing feel a bit soggy, but once it starts to move, it suddenly comes alive. I know that sounds normal, but on this one there's a definite step up in performance over a certain speed - only talking good frontside speeds, so I'm sure it will be completely consistent in DS when it's working at its frontside cruise and above. Tried it with a little snapflap in as well, and it pops a really nice F3F turn as well - really crisp! All in all, gets you on your toes in a good way, that's for sure!

The Dynamics certainly look like great fun!

I don't mean to be detracting from their obvious merits, but one thing I have noticed, is that everyone talks about how fast they are.  If a 40" plane DID'NT look fast, wouldn't there be something really seriously wrong with it :''?

Measured at 252mph in the States. I think that goes beyond just looking fast.

That's funny Chris - Adam said on Sunday that if someone had been watching from the road and didn't know that it was just a 40"er they probably wouldn have thought that it was an F3Fer on world record pace LOL

Well along with the D80's was my little cheeky Xmas stocking special. A four servo wing D40... Joe's upped the game again with these. Super cutesy little servo covers which fully shroud the links and a really nice scheme. Top hinged ailerons and bottom hinged flaps - awwww! What a fantastic little model - the build work on these little ones is just sensational!

Pics soon...

A very happy Zim.
