dear  all

in about 1996 i bought a fibreglass catalina kit from sandown. It has a 9 foot span with fibreglass fuselage and centre pod

I have finally started to build it and running in to a few problems - all the plan mentions is authentic mouldings - doess anyone know this kit or have any experience building it

wil post picks as we go

brought in by Chiltern models,  sadly,  either the owner, or his wife died,  and the business finished,   i think the kits where from new zealand, the proprietor's home country

cheers - that's right it was chiltern models - i knew it related the hills but could not know which

does anyone know of any one who has built one - what to look out for and where to source the undercarriage

we want to have retractable undercarriage ansd be able to fly from water - we are already taking moulds of the fuselage so that we can get everything water tight
