Topic: Mayhem team wanted for Hop farm 2010.

Okies folks, this has been talked of before, and it was talked about at hop farm.

If we can get a team together to fly in a mayhem , we can get a slot at hop farm next year if we can book early enough, slots are usually fully booked by April.

I myself will need to take my B to do it, and i aim to get it as id like to fly at hop farm next year in a mayhem slot.

I know steve mitchell has spoken to mickey about this, and i and JohnB have spoken about it to both steve and mickey.

So, who is interested in flying a mayhem slot at Hop farm next year.?

Why just those 2 types?  I flew my Rafalroo at Binham in the slot and was right up there on speed and maneuverability.

I cant go.......... got no "B" and I don't know of anyone round here able to take me for it.............. or if I could pass it 

I think we can do this, however we really need full commitment for it.

We need to have a team of 15ish to make it work, 3-4 just wouldn't be the mayhem we know.

Models need to be matched quite well so really we need to look at Roo's, Gremlins Rapiers to make it even better for the show.

We need to be in sync with each other and we need to get some practice in so we all know what manouvers are being called.

Yes it needs to be fun but we need to structure it so it is a crowd stopper and safe.

So if we can get enough RCMFers together to make it viable then lets go for it. get building guys I know there are a fair few B pilots in the forum, and if you haven't got one yet then you need to get working on that too.

Your's is a Roo derivative so would hope it's in there too.

But then it wouldn't last long with Steve Mitchell about! 

No Probs but where do I get a plan for a roo or a gremmy (whatever they are )

Nothing for those slots right now (apart from the funfighter, which survived Hop Farm  ), but we'll sort a gremlin out or something for the slot.   I don't get much time, but between now and then we'll get it sorted.

Pretty good thanks, I shifted the CG forward, but it still flicks (always the right wing). I have arranged for a certain verile morris dancer to put it through it's paces at os. It may be something simple like too much movement. Hopefully have it sorted soon

Well i can see that you are up for it . I spoke to jim on sunday about it and provided you have all booked in early enough it should be ok . When you get your booking in forms on them there are various categories ie team , trade etc if you put down rcmf he will sort what has to be done . He said you may only be able to have one slot a day but if he gets enough of you we will see what we can do . But no promises ok ? but we will try for you all . Regards mickey

Nick, its virtualy identical to a Sickle if you've got any correx left, have a look on spad to the bone under 'beyond sttb'

Do we have to book in individually even though flying together? or do we book in as a team with all names down on one sheet?umm..and also.. where do we get booking in forms from please??

As you aint a team as such yet i will find out for sure for you ! who out of you will be doing the organising , so that i can liase with them and not get inundated with questions from you all . If you sort it out pm me the contact details and we can go from there . Mickey
