Does anyone know if styrofoam can be purchased as a block. I'm having a go at making a f/g cowl, and need a foam block 12 1/2''x10'' x 7''. i will need 2, just in case I F--ff  - up the first attempt. If so where can it be purchased from.

Don't know if it's available that big but best source of enquirey is Sheffield Insulations.

Try here. Styrofoam Online by Panel Systems Limited Don't think it comes 7" thick but you can easy stick sheets together with spray glue- prevents a hard glue ridge when sanding. Cheers, Rob.

Just bought a few sheets on Ebay, 4x12x24 just over £7 each. Thanks for your info.
