I now have a pretty fast machine with good Graphic and Sound cards. Plenty of memory, but, Vista operating system.

So I had a look at AeroflyPro/deluxe website. They don't like Vista.

What, if any modelflight simulator is most likely to be 1: GOOD 2: Happy with Vista.

No Rain, Light wind. Please :-)

Are you likely to be moving to Windows 7? I'm told it has the ability to run in a mode allowing Windows XP programes to run  :af

Been looking around a little. Phoenix, has a good following. Thank you, Mud, and Sizzling.

I may go for Windows 7 in a years time. Very good feedback for it as an operating system.

Hi Flytilbroke.

Realfllight G4 works fine with Vista. I installed a G4.5 upgrade from their website and it still works fine.

I wouldn't expect graphical intensive programs like flight sims to run well in Windows 7 "XP mode"; essentially, XP mode is running an operating system (XP) inside an operating system (7). Any program you run in that environment is likely to be dog-like.... :''

Doing it inverted makes your clunk go wobbly!

Possibly relevant, seems Windows 7 uses a lot of XP,s coding and has been designed to be able to run a lot of older software. A lot of comments I have seen agree that it actually does. With less compatibility within Home and Student version.

I cannot load the free download from Multiplex FMS simulator available from their website on to my new computer with Windows  7 ! No problem previously with Windows XP.

Has anybody any suggestions, I am dying to fly my new ZAGI !
