Pen-Y-Fan.
Our Top Hill?
What, just 'cos it happens to be where these lads like to fly.  :banghead:
What about Blen Cathra Mark?  :uk:
Don't you fancy a walk up there again?
Cat Bells?
Crib Goch?

Everyone is entitled to my opinion.

Absolutely stunning picture Mike. You should send that over to Chris Bosley at RCSpeeds.com for his location photo. Other shots are great too.

What a stunning pic of the Skirrid Mike.  I'm hoping to get to the Skirrid myself for the first time in 2010 during my Ds adventures. Bet its raining and shrouded in fog when i go :banghead:

Tat place looks awesome. Nice picture as well. I really like the lack of rocks. No need to polish your plane, just a few landings there and it should shine yes?

Joe:
Softest landing, in season,  is on the bilberry ("huckleberry" to you!) patches, so the shine has a purple hue :''

would trade softish landing for drive up access, warm temps and dial-a-pizza slope-side delivery though  ;D

Come on folks - get yer money out and join me on the train for Snowdon this spring - ten minute stroll to one of about four wind directions on knife edge ridges that have to 'work' - fancy it?

Well, it's certainly part of Snowdon and I already tried it after a leisurly ride up n the train.  :af
That is Crib Goch and it did work well. BUT you can't stand on there looking upwards without feeling like you will soon plummet to your death.  :o
Landing out would be in England somewhere but landing at the top is easier near the cafe. It is very rocky and extremely busy. Also lots of kids knocking about too and southern tourists in shorts and jesus sandles....... :banghead:

Sorry Adam, just a dry remark ;)

D40 + sharp protruding rocks = splinter.

Must stop inferring formulae. :)
