10FG Tx to 8 ch Rx ?

As you may know, with the Futaba 10FG 2.4Ghx Tx, when you change from a 7ch rx to the 14ch rx, to have to change the tx in parameters, to which ever Rx you want the Tx to bind to. There is no setting for an 8 ch rx, So how do i bind my Tx to an 8 ch Rx ? (Before i commit to buy one).
Cheers.
Ray.

i dont have the 10fg but i do have the 12fg. it has two settings for the rx type one setting for 6 and 7ch rx's and one setting for 8 and 14ch rx's, and it is within the model memory so once it is set for that model, you can change from model to model and not worry that it is on the correct rx type

Aha, That's not an 10fg then ? The 10fg only has two setting, 10 & 7 ch.
Thanks, I already got a reply from RC World Ltd, Sunday afternoon too .

Yeah, i've had it since it first appeared, It's ok really, but it's just an extension of the 9. In hindsight, i wish i had gone the extra mile & bought the 12fg. Ah well, i'll live with it.
Cheers.

Hi, Ive got the 10C. If you have a look on the Futaba web site it tells you which TX's will run which RX's.
Futaba® Radio Control (RC - R/C) Systems and Accessories
Looks like the TX will run the 8ch RX in 10ch mode?
I wish i had got the 12FG as well just for the extra bits like servo speed control.
