Following a couple of threads where I've mentioned this "creation", I cobbled together a vid this wet afternoon.

OK, I know it's pig ugly ;D but it was cheap to make (B&Q flooring foam) and gives plenty of fun facor if you're into that VTPR/Swinger kinda thing. :af

So we sailed on to the sun,
Till we found the sea green,
And we lived beneath the waves,
In our flying submarine,

We all live in flying submarine,
yellow submarine, flying submarine,
We all live in flying submarine,
flying submarine, flying submarine.

nice one cliff :)

woah deja vu...

That looks like a cruise missile in flight LOL I quite like the look... Now all you need is some cunning linkage to hook up some "flaps" on your vertical wings so that you've got a bit of camber in KE and you'll be well away!!

Nice one mate. Smooth moves, as Mike said - I enjoyed that.

I agree:  looks way better in the air than the pics on the ground would suggest!  Nice vid :af!

Amazing. Heminds of the first time I tried a twin tip board. The possibilities just open out.

You tried a speedy knife edge loop yet cliff?

We've tried and tried with the Swinger but it just wont go over the top.

Mike- the right way up is black.. umm.. or is it orange..err.. good job Rhossili down is covered in heather :''

Yes Steve to be honest it was one of the main reasons I built it was to try and do K.E loops. Tried time and again, as yet no joy $%& seems to be the Holy Grail!!

I had to cut one third off the original vert. wings as it was just too difficult to keep it on course- the wind force on the side area was just too much.

A bit less walking is to park in the Norman church car park, on the right as you come into Rhossili village.
Gets a bit packed in summer, but this time of year is ok.
