there you go Chris:
Lundy Island

We're in the Old Lighthouse, so somewhere up around the North Lighthouse should be ok for you  :af

Full moon while we're there chaps. Anyony for night flying? On the Wednesday the moon is up from 8 til 7.
Now who sells lights?

:af Time exposure with a light on the planes so you can draw a big circle round the moon.
i am so keen to try this now. I have to find a plane I can fit a bunch of the Canuck's LEDs to. I'm sure i have an excess of 60" mouldies lying around.

Clear weather will make for some amazing nighttime shots in general.

Hi folks

Well I have some sad news , I am going to have to remove myself from the "Going to Lundy" list ( well sort of )
If there is anyone out there that would like to go then my ticket is for sale, I have paid Ian £85 deposit so if some one wants it just let me know , All further costs can be found within this thread or you can ask :) , I am really gutted but the way things are going with the EX part of life and all the tie's I am going to have to withdraw. If no one buys my ticket then I will of course honour my commitment to the  accommodation,

Sorry if this messes anyone around but I am sure some one else will enjoy the trip :)

Happy flying

On a more sensible note. To avoid everyone turning up with soldering irons but nobody having any flux, should we pool repair stuff? I can brung West resin and carbon and microballoon and fibres.

Don't forget, just as the resin has been applied you have to say "Now if I was doing it, I would have..."

Come off it. Lingerie is like high end DLGs. The lighter and flimsier it is  the pricer it gets.

Can we make it a jog down to the jetty and back? I found gravity is the main leveller in my flying.

Hey lads

Just had a thought... Is it too early to start discussing what models we're taking? It's fun! Here's what I'm thinking so far:

PIK20 - because it's a massive pain in the a4se on the boat and it gives me a sense of accomplishment just to get it there. Oh and this time I want to do some proper circuits around the church spire. Attempts last time were a bit limp really.

Strega - coz I loikes it for racin'

Vector III - coz I was dead jealous of Adam's last time out.

Thorn - coz I gotta!

D60 - in case we get some bigtime winds for maximum frontside burnage.

JART M70 - coz there's cliffs and I want to try and re-live watching Lift Ticket.

Venom - coz it's hard as nails and chicks dig a ninja combat wing.

Can't wait already!

Zim

with fingers crossed bigtime that Lee gets sorted in time
