Ali I don't know who you've been talking to but that is most certainly not the way it is within the guys who DS. They're just a regular bunch of guys, who know that they are just a regular bunch of guys, getting out and having fun with models! Take my word for it.

RCers of all types are a minority group. Would be nice if we could have solidarity and mutual respect amongst the different disciplines. If we cant, what hope is there that our interests will be respected by the general public?

It would seem even I underestimated the extraordinarily low height you have to pitch something these days to catch numpties when you go fishin'.
It must be cabin fever with the snow keeping all the slopers near the workshop heaters Ali.
There is a reason I posted it in the Jet section - They have more sense over there than to cruise these boards and reading the above, who can blame them!

These remarks are sadly misplaced.
As Mike/Isoaritfirst just said, read the thread from its apparent inception & gain the perspective of those reading this Board unaware of all the "previous".
I wouldn't dream of making a post on a "jet" enthusiasts' Board, less still an inappropriate one. If perchance that occurred because a thread had been transferred from the DS Board, I'd immediately apologise & bail out.

I've not participated in or seen any PMs, but they're the sole business of those involved & nothing to do with what takes place on this public thread.

There's no shortage of humour here, only a shortage of respect by some infrequent visitors.

Well I'm going to be nice to the jet lads. They always warn me about their meets at Dalton Barracks and one day I'll ask one of them to give my Brio an aerotow (suitably long line please).
