    What did Santa bring you......  Cyril or Ceres for the F3f guys.. Opus or Kinetic for the Ds'ers....  Maybee a Vector to perfect your aerobatics... Perhaps a new Muff Or was it a pair of novelty socks and aftershave

What did i get........  Lundy 2010   what more could i want ........ Oh yeh Socks.

Santa came early for me with my shiney new extreme F3F

Alula Evo with servos and battery under the tree this morning and nearly enough cash from those who don't know what to get me to tempt me to buy a Flying Fish!

The only thing I've got thats even remotely plane related is a set of thermal under wear... will save the nadgers being frozen off over the coming couple of months.

a new compact digital camera for stills & hard-hat-cam videos 

(and secret Santa bought himself a shiny new Extreme - still hidden away out of sight - and a battered old Wiz for back-up - even more hidden)

I think a Vector 3 will do nicely.

Oh I did get some great socks!
Some seal skins water and wind proof and thermal too.
The nice thing about these is they let your feet beath but stop water coming back through.
Great for keeping feet warm and dry on the coldest wettest slope days.

Interesting, I got a seal skins beanie hat, which looks very warm, wind and waterproof for those winter slope days.

Santa brought me a Fusion 46, now built, just waiting for the battery to top off and then check the COG and then off to bed ready for flying tomorrow

Santa dropped off a Kestrel Hand Held Anemometer,  so maybe I can sort out my ballast issues next year.

No Socks for me either...

I had a word with his Elves though, and there is a good chance they will be dropping off an Opus V DS early in the New Year , providing they can sneak in behind the wifes back......

First thing i buy when i have a cold is a bottle of Ribena. Drink it hot,regularly through the day instead of your tea and coffee. Always works for me. Get well soon.

MPX 2.4 Royal Pro 9 Ch .Tx/Rx...not quite 'plug & play' compared to JR - I just need to get rid of the relatives and have a good read of the manual - I am hoping the switch to the 'Multiplex way of doing things' will be worth it.

....Luckily I'd found out about the lack of a supplied charging lead beforehand!

Bottle of Ribena, Lots of hot cups of it through the day instead of tea or coffee. Always works for me.

Sneaked in a short flying session yesterday at the "Berkshire Bwlch" (Beacon hill) near Newbury. I was putting my gear on in the car park when i realised i'd forgotten something............  Yep you guessed it.... B****y Socks

Well as for santa and the elves...as you all know tha they tryed to sort me out early to this year With a Luna but that didnt quite work so they came and took it back and exchanged it for a Typhoon! AND then they had the cheek to say i had to buy the servo's to go in it!!! so on chrismas day fingers crossed and with me down on my knees praying to the mighty Santa god, I ended up with just enought money with a little help from £2 or so to buy one servo !

I really must try harder to work out a more friendly relationship with Santa's Elves
But the day was very brilliant

Managed to sneak out over the park on xmas day for a quick blast with my Fantom -unfortunatly the Mighty Fantom didn't quite make it through the tree it hit....
