hi guys,

i used to have a futaba 6ex 2.4 and when i powered it down for range testing i could walk really far from the rx, but now i have a spektrum dx7, when i power it down for a range test i cannot walk as far as i could with the futaba... i am not sure how much spektrum is powered down compared with fuutaba, and what is the distance that you are supposed to go when range checking a dx7?

thanks

steve

30 strides is good for a Spekky. Less if the model is on the ground and the ground is wet...

It will either bind or it won't, you won't get a "reduced range bind". If you put the Tx too close to the Rx you can swamp the Rx and it won't bind about 1m away is usually fine, but with my DX6i I've not found this is critical.
