So you think i'm allright buying these then mate ?
6v RX Packs Hi-MH+ 2100mAh vapextech with Futaba lead ?.

Absolutely. Do you have a specific reason for going to 6v? Not that it really matters- most medium sized stuff will run all day on one of these packs. I run all my Spektrum stuff on 4.8v and have never had a problem.

Can you recommend a reasonably priced nimh charger for these batteries then? I Only have a MPX which charges at 150ma.

Ok, this isn't funny, who's moved my sense of humour?

I've started to use the one right at the end of the last page on Instants.

It charges at 0.5 amp, which they recommend and stops charging when the pack is charged.  The cells finish very slightly warm as they sould be. It will charge Rx and Tx packs, cell size AAA and AA.
Dirt cheap at £11

So my 600mah charger is about spot on.  :af

The Ripmax wall , overnight whatever charger that I have (came with the Futaba set) is 80 mah, not 600 mah. Overnight a 2000 mah pack at 600 mah and your ever so slightly (!!) overcharging it ....... :''

I think Paul was talking about a 600mA peak charger, so it wouldnt be running 600mA all night...

Why would you want to field charge Rx and Tx batteries?

For when I go camping. I always take 2/3 gliders with me to do a bit of dune sloping while walking the dogs. And if the wind doesn't blow then I can do a bit of DLG with the Alula too.
I'll probabaly get both anyway, more planes= more batteries, and it rags me off waiting for 1 battery to finish so I can do another. It's not too bad with just a couple of batts, but the more slopers I get the more batts I get.
