As the last of the Twister 35 mhz Coaxials went out at extreme low prices before Christmas, we should have seen this coming – but we didn’t!

2.4 GHz Coaxial Twisters! This is very good news!

So what’s the BIG NEWS? The new models are with the 2.4 GHZ Planet Radio

And YES you can buy Planet Radio Rx’s for very little!

and YES the will work in Model Airplanes and although SWM recommend the Planet Radio for Park Fly only, there are reports of customers flying the Planet Radio in models such as 40 Powered Sports Models and Wot 4’s! etc.

I'd have to say, I prefer to see the 2.4 Ghz budjet 'end' of 2.4 Ghz like the Planet Radio in shorter range models as the manufacturer developed it for such models and not - IC powered large sport models. Someone is bound to tell me...I'm wrong! Thats my own opinion.

I would use it in ParkFly - infact I have a set of Planet Radio for mine and my sons experimental Depron models!

I think this news is the biggest think to happen to the Twister Coaxial models since they first came out! 2.4 GHZ, I see JP 's Heli Sales increasing again in the next few months!

Cheers

Steve

Postscript to the opening post - The 35 MHZ models - now at genuine Bargain Prices!

Most of the 35 mhz models have now gone. There is one or two Sky Lifts left on 35 MHZ – worth  buying IMO if only for the spares value – it’s a new Heli! With 35 MHZ, which is replaced by the 2.4 ghz model  You will never see Skylifts at this price ever again!
