Believe it was a "Wrong model" issue (as in not flying your own model).

Anyway, a great w/e again and a massive thanks to all the organisational team, it was a superb effort from start to finish .............and for once the TJD team lost more than the FunFighters in that last pyros slot ;) (second photo above of F4U landing taken at the end of that slot with the orange smoke still going strong).

Pete

When will people learn. I lost sight of my Mustang in the first slot during the 45 climb at the left hand end. Two model crossed in front of it and my eyes followed the wrong one.
I shut the throttle and planted the model safely into the ground IMMEDIATELY. The photo of the results can be seen on these pages.

Expensive   Yes.

Gutted  Certainly

But in the circumstances the only thing to do. All the reds expect to have to do this. If you have any sort of problems that may cause danger to anyone else Kill the model safely where it is.

I know you believe you understand what you think i said, but i am not sure you realise that what you think you heard is not what i meant.

It's never easy to understand why memories hold our hand, and people let go.
