Can anyone offer any words of wisdom?   :banghead:  :banghead:

I am putting a friends second hand Spectrum AR9000 receiver in a plane I am building for him.

I am quite new to 2.4 Spectrum gear having mostly Futaba 35Mhz but have got the 2.4 Module for my Futaba FF9 which came with a AR9000 and all the necessary bits and pieces, bind plug etc...
setting this new receiver up was not a problem at all...did more or less what the instructions told me...and hey Presto the two talk to each other.

Come to do the same with my friends receiver and nothing....Same set up , connections and bind plug but it don't want to know.
There is power to the receiver because when I turn the switch on the receiver blinks once. I go through the bind process..but not a thing..
Is this because its been bound to another Transmitter...Is there something different you have to do to rebind to a new one?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Wayne

Is your battery fully charged, try binding it direct in the Rx, not through a switch.

Panic Over went on You Tube to see hows its done correctly .! and after reading your post ....Doing it through the Switch as the Instruction with the AR9000 tells you does not seem to work...

Plugged the bind plug in one of the Battery (and as I also know it now the Bind port) and the Battery in any other port and we have flashing lights !   :D  :D

So the instructions are a load of Garbage  !
Cheers,

ah, i guess you have the switch harness with just two wires lacking the third signal wire...
