Summer Flu can't believe it what a time to come down with this, have a good time all
I dare say though that failsafe settings were used
A mate of mine was under the tree too, he called to the folks there to look out and they did.
Just to clarify a couple of things about this crash. It was not a radio problem, it was purely pilot error, and his helpers error. Needless to say that the incident was dealt with swiftly by both the Weston Crew and the BMFA bods who were present. A mate of mine was under the tree too, he called to the folks there to look out and they did. I personally thought it was the best Weston, the full size displays were absolutely top notch and a big thanks should go to the whole team for another superb effort. Once again the show flowed very well with a good variety of model types, not enough scale stuff for me and too many averagely flown aerobats, amongst some very enjoyable well flown aerobats I must also add..... but there was something for everyone. Top job and many thanks to the Wrekin peeps Ian.
Glad no one was hurt but if it was under control ( al beit not fully by the pilot, what was it doing behind the trade tents???Cheers Andy
This will likely follow the usual pattern of RCMF show threads from the past. Spectator reports a near-miss in the crowd from a model that crashed, thread ultimately closed, edited or removed. Rinse and repeat.
Where was the caller and what was he doing??
