I made a comment about black and yellow models on the forum a few days ago.

These are the models that I had with me on a local hill pimple today

...... also note the colour of my backpack.   :embarassed:

Yo Paul,
is that Moel-y-Crio? I went to Moel-Famau but the wind was not good and the car park was full of not very sensible people, the one that was still usable that is. I ended up in a Costa Coffee on the A55 panicking about said "people" trying to squeeze into spaces next to my "4."

Alex is very nice, but I took a long time to get it sorted - all self inflicted problems, bad cg, bad movements, anything you could imagine really.  It's got a geared Kontronic 480 and that didin't prove to be a good match for Hyperspinners http://www.hyperflight.co.uk/products.asp?cat=Spinners - kept spitting off because the 2 grub screws couldn't grab the round drive shaft.  Things got better when I fitted an Aeronaut precision spinner and now that I've got the cg and movements sorted it handles beautifully.

No choice on colour scheme when I bought it, overwise it would have been like a newspaper - black white and red all over  ;D

I must remember to be more reverend about that colour scheme favoured by the great and the good  :''

Seen your vids of the Alex at the Orme Mark.  Looks like it was a great day for flying, shame I wasn't there.

Yep, no problems with parking at Moel-y-Crio and wind was just right.  First flights with the Weasel Evil was a blast - perfect for that site  :af
