Thanks for that John--looks good--we also have over 70 aircraft booked in ,including the spectacular GB team and selection of Dawn Patrol team--plus all the big models and jets that Rufforth attracts because of the runway facilities. There is a free bring/buy area for anyone wanting to bring along those unwanted items--just normal gate [prices which have been held again at £7 adults and £6 concessions---DAVE

I hope you get good weather Andy -

I still think thats one impressive model. I'd love to see it again - it's so realistic, but I can't make it to that show. How far is the drive to this show? From the NW? Cos maybe next year? Who knows?

So the visitors to the show  have this too look forward too -

I think it stole the show at Woodvale  :af

Looks like it's going to be a good show.

Steve

I love all things Radio Control, so much it hurts.

The weather was dry yesterday but the cross winds stopped flying for a little bit, still really enjoyed the afternoon out, highlights for me (and I was only there for a few hours) was the 1/2 scale decathlon, engine cut so he pulled a loop ! (it was auto start though) and there was a young pilot 'Connor' who put on a flawless display with an electric Giles

brought tat home,  no buyers :'(     BUT!   a great day,   could have done with a few more models,  $%&   but how could you not enjoy what was there,    nice, laid back atmosphere, enough trade,   struggled getting past 2 things,  the ice cream van, and the bar :D     commentary was varied,  very acceptable,  dont know what yesterday was like,  but today was BRILL :af  MODELS FOR ME/   The comet is easily the finest model ever to fly for the LMA,   closely followed by the vulc, and vic demo,          now a funny thing,  i have been looking for a silencer for an old HP 61 for ages,    bought a box of tata,  and in there wasTHREE of them!!    that alone made the very short trip well worthwhile :af :af

Neil, excellent photographs as ever :af  As others have said, your photographs are very well appreciated even if they haven't been commented on.

For the events that I've attended and you've posted photographs of, they have always been an excellent reminder of some great days.   For those featuring  events that I didn't attend, they show what I've missed and a reminder to me to get out more next year!

Please keep posting on RCMF :xx

Looks like the Chippy should have been fitted with floats!

That Heston looks great, a very attractive and unusual aeroplane - not seen a model of it before.    (The Heston Racer is quite tasty too - anyone built a model?)

Geoff Graves was flying Derek's Heston - he'd just done a stall turn, that's how I got that angle - looks different.

The Chipmunk belongs to Tony Woodhouse - shows how wet the runway was at start of play, Saturday.

Hi Ian,

Yep, my first attempt - bit crude, but I'll improve - I hope. I went a bit OTT on the cloud formation. Still not to bad for a beginner :-\
