Hi guys ( and girls if any)

I fitted it with HS225 MG servos, a 230 cc tank , Sullivan rods and a JETT 35 engine.
I do use a landing gear, Q500 + slim line wheels.

The engine is still in the break-in stage, and was wondering if the wing and stab will handle the tight turns, knowing this engine is supposed to turn a 9X6 or a 8X7 above 18k.

I have no idea about the inside of the wing, if it is stiff enough.

I just bought the Old Crow, as well...............

Tnx

EDIT: just realized I dropped this one in the wrong forum !
If a modo can move it maybe ?

I know you believe you understand what you think i said, but i am not sure you realise that what you think you heard is not what i meant.

West 50's in that small thing  :o :o :o  ?

No flutter problems ?

I have a West 36 waiting for me to finish, or rather start, the build of a Gnumpf.

no flutter issues, tho top speed wasn't much higher, about as much difference as my west 36 over standard 36's

just put some carbon braces on the tail plane

We flew ours at Barkston warbirds the weekend I have an sc32 in mine and pull some pretty tight high speed turns with no problem... I have about 45 % Expo in mine and never experienced any flutter on any surfaces or the wing not being strong enough.... if you remember to tighten the wing bolts ! say no more  :af :af ;)

45% expo is huge !
I started using expo as a beginner to smooth thing out, but now I tend to lower the expo as much as I can.
I like crisp controls !

Have a OS 32SX in it, and been diving at full chat, then pulling out. No problem, as with smaller models, loads are much less, than a larger model. Only thing is use a decent quality elevator servo, as I found a 3003 is not quite up to it.

Don't be a don't be, be a doobie!

Not sure what i have in mine think its  3003's  and I do all kinds of silly things with it..... this isn't 3D flying you are doing with these and the movements are so small for smooth flying all you are doing at these speeds is basically changing the trim of the aircraft.
If you are worried about gears on Servos then maybe go to Metal gears but its all about keeping the weight down.

Flew mine again last week against a mate who had a Cambrian home built Spit with an old 26 in it.  Both had minimal movements with plenty of Expo and had power to spare...Great fun !
