That's why I am drawing them last  ::)

Actually Glenn Torrance has taken pictures of the recently re-painted Rhinebeck machine with close ups of all the characters.  Of greatest importance was the interpretation of the 2 rabbits as they are very difficult to see on the actual pictures.

I have them now so I can begin drawing them later next week.  Glenn has been very helpful indeed.

See you then.

How ya' doing Stewey ??

It is indeed a nice looking kit.  I am just working on the Greenley at the moment so it won't be long before I start on this one.

Yup, I'm back, great 15 days out of the country!

Just seen your PM, will measure up later... IT's BIG though! ;D

Mr J,   do you get the lot in these kits,  guns, instruments, and all the nicey scale bits,  or are they modular, and you have the option to buy what you want?   are we talking its well designed, thought out, and of good quality, ? :)  does it all fit together?   i remember the dornier that Jonesy did for Dave Tappin,      ::) that was an Arizona one though

Hi Alan.  Well I have not connected anything together yet so can't comment on the assembly, but consensus of opinion from other UK builders is that GTM kits are very well thought our and go together very well.  The D.VII is very new and understand mine id the first one into the UK.

I can say that they are really well set out, and the plans are very detailed and easy to follow.

Glenn normally sells the main airframe as a separate kit to the cockpit, dummy engine, guns etc but for the first time the 1/3 D.VII has all of these as standard except the cannons.  I have purchased 2 BUAS kits as a result.

Time will tell naturally.

I estimate building to start on the main structures in late November.

Top Man Neil.  Thanks for the pictures.

Having looked at the German gear reduction system and the Mick Reeves system in CAD it is clear that only the Reeves system will fit into the D.VII cowl comfortably.

See you at Gaydon  :af

Well I have finally got confirmation from Glen Torrance that the remaining parts are going to be posted for the D.VII.
I should receive the lower cowl (chin), floor board, control column, compass, throttle quad and control stick, and dash board with all the placards etc.

The re-designed dummy engine will also be in the box with it's 200+ parts to put together!!

I have also purchased some 1/3 scale 4 colour lozenge for the wings from the new production run.

Building boards are getting put together for me so building should start in the next month or two.
