My pace flew rather well up beacon on Saturday!!

my gold fish can fart harder than the wind was blowing up there that day! ;)

Managed about an hour or so flying time in whole, but i was very suprised how the pace flew.

Good luck G

Glad to hear that Saturday wasn't too good for ya :ev but only because i was unable to get up Beacon myself, & i kept wondering what conditions were like, as i wanted to take the Furio up there.

Pics or it didn't happen.

Oh, hang on - it isn't 'fly it like you borrowed it, land it like you stole it', is it!
So that's where I've been going wrong...

Got to Watership down by 8.15 am & was greeted by 10 mph NE. Low cloud but looked OK to fly when looking from the car park.  20 mins later i was on the slope edge & rigging up. 5 mins later the cloud/ mist decended & i couldnt see a damn thing for next 2 hrs  :banghead:.
Eventually it cleared / lifted enough to give it a go. A final double check of everything & away the Furio went.
Absolutely no problems whatsoever, & was if nothing had ever happened to it  :)  Although the cloud base was still low, i was still able to give her a work out  :co.          2 1/2 hrs stick time in total before the clag came back & the wind began to die.
All on my lonesome & i even forgot to take my camera, so no assembled on the slope pics i'm afraid.
