If I manage to pull off the most massive workload by then, then maybe. But I gotta say that it doesn't look good just now!

I'll keep an eye open.

But there is also skirrid Thursday and Friday which is looking stronger. (Imagin taking moth days of, WOW)  (I would probably break all my toys on the first day and spend the second crying over the better conditions)

Has anyone flown the Skirrid in an E or ESE? Can't see why it shouldn't work. We've got a shed-load of strongish easterlies forecast.

Hello Steve

I am also reconsidering going on Saturday.
Not flown it in an easterly but don't see why it shouldn't word, but, you would have to pick your spot wisely.
The easterly face is more vertical, with a more defined lip, and the westerly face better for front side landings, so turned arround the landings will be more difficult, and the ds angle flatter, IMHO. But never the less doable, and again if we walk further along the ridge we may find more suitable spots.

I wouldn't have though ENE would have been any good for the Skirrid, but you never know unless you give it a go :af
I'm unable to come this weekend :'( Clare's having her mop cleaned on Saturday and I'm flying the long lost Wrecker on Sunday.
As far as landings go, just land on the back in an easterly, heaps of really nice, soft heather to catch em :af
As far as the flat DS angle goes, maybe try further up to the peak? Steep on both sides up there $%&

see you on a slope one day ........... eventually.......hopefully

No. No foam, and didn't want to kill the d80. Heard the landing where very tricky so opted out. next time, when I have a dragon and JW.
