Well I had a go at my own cross county today and I am knackered, it was just a loop around 2 fields, 1 mile in total according to 'map my run'.

I tried the Stork and the Pike - both needed some assistance on the trip, The Stork needed 5 climbs and the Pike needed 6 though it landed twice, whilst I care less for it than the Stork, it struggled in the wind.

I proably need to be finished by 2ish at the latest tomorrow as I have to drive straight up North after...  what time are you expecting the finish Allen?

Regards,

Did only you & JP take part as ESSA members Allen, or did they not complete it or something? :af

I just can't understand how my leisurely stroll around the course, with an extended pause to milk every weak patch of lift, didn't get me first place  $%&

Allen,

Si and I were the last to leave and on packing up the car park we noticed that you had left behind your beautifully hand-crafted event sign.
I have it at home now so the next time I'm down your way, which I'm sure will be before next year, I'll hand them over to you.

Thanks for organising an excellent day which was good for me as I lost 2 lbs in weight, even after the excellent Harvey's Sussex Ale!!

Too many models to list - If I did they'd take up the whole page!

This year the comp will be for electric only so Loggers will be required
Hand tow gliders will not be turned away and can compete if they with

Allen,
do you have a set of rules including penalties for relaunch.

I saw your simple note last year where you said pilot at the turn and 360. shortest time is winner but you did not say the cost of relaunch.
what is normally the overall distance?
are you back at the original AF (including a bit of slope) venue?

yep we are back at the AF venue
and yes you get time added on for relaunches

this year will be an electric launch comp as the hand tows really could not compete
people are still welcome to enter with hand tows but no handicap will be given to the electric

I think it was about 1.5 miles but took about 1 hour to complete
