Beautiful job as ever, though I have one question.

Have you run out of yellow paint yet ! ???

You are nearly as bad as Matrock with his Italian jobs!!

Check this out, this is the first flight, it was cut very sort due to the engine loosing power. I gave Ian the transmitter to do a emergency landing and he did a top job in the tricking conditions :af  , Ill post the 2nd flight soon

Hi Neil

I'm finishing up my GTM dr1 and would like to know how you balanced yours. From the flight videos it looks like the CG is dead on. How heavy is your build and what power plant are you using.

Thanks

Tom

Hi Tom i balanced mine with the c.g measurements whats on the plan, balancing it on the wing rib closest to the fuz on the middle wing, the all up weight is just under 15kgs and is powered by a zenoah 38 with Toni Clarke reduction drive,Neil

There something wrong with the first clip. Mr redshaw taking almost a full minute to start the engine, your letting the side down.  :'' :''

It was sensitive but very controllable, it was also blustery too. Neil has altered some settings since as it has now flown a good few times more. Hows yours coming on Richard? Hows the Morane too?? Get thi names down for Stow Maries :af :af

Hi Richard, like Ian said its very manoeuvrable but easy to control, i altered the undercarriage bungees to stop it skipping on the ground when landing and re tensioned the fuz to top wing flying wires. It flys brilliantly, just on with re engining it to a 100cc twin, with should make it perform a lot better, the drag with having 3 wings was a lot.  Neil

Hi Neil

Thanks for the CG info. I have six flights to date and yes its a floater...flys slow and easy. However I can't land on paved runways because it likes to ground loop. The wings skids get a work out and need to modify them to flex and prevent yielding of the support brk. I fly at 6000 feet plus and use a da 100cc engine. The plane can go vertical at 39 lbs. Not scale like but I fly mostly 1/2 throttle anyway. You sure can get out of trouble with that power.

Thanks for the info Ian & Neil i have a 62cc Fuji for mine it should do fine with the drag ((Snail pace but it is moving on the wings are all to gether and the fuse is framed just lots on will get there soon  :banghead:

Morane is all ok will do some work on it over winter
Yes i will book in for Stow Maries lookes a fantastic place  :af :af
