Here's the wing all masked up and ready for primer.

2nd pic is with the first coat of primer. Gonna do a couple more coats tomorrow then give it a nice rub down next weekend ...I always think paint runs down better when it's had several days to dry, or is that my imagination?

Got the paint from Warbird Colours today, the grey and green look spot on, but I'm concerned about the red, it's supposed to be RAF Roundel Red, but it looks distinctly brown/orange; not like any roundel I've ever seen.

...I'll give it a go as it might look totally different when sprayed.

Ok, turning attention back to the fuz...

I was going to permanently join the two halves, but decided to keep them  separate for transportation.

When the two halves are put together there are a few gaps, these need filling, but in a way that will still allow the halves to separate.

Lots of PVA release agent was applied to the bits I didn't want to stick, then the halves were joined and polyester putty used to fill the gaps.

This will dry in about an hour, then I'm going to sand it and hopefully separate it!

...if not, then I'll just buy a bigger car!

Ok, filler is set and has sanded down nicely, the fit is now much smoother.

...and luckily, with a little persuasion and a razor knife the two halves still come apart! - so no need for a new car!

Just told my wife that i'm off to the garage to fiddle with some tits.

...either she knows i'm about to make the Sabrinas on my Hunter, or she just doesn't care!

First glue the balsa supports inside each Sanrina.

Then sand them to shape by putting sand paper on the fuz.

Glue them in place.

Use filler to smooth the join.
