Let me know if there is one with a rudder, I want one! (without the trauma of fitting one of course).

Had a great fly today. Practicing my cubans, reversals and vertical 8s.She is the perfect practice tool, even in poor air.

Ive added aero condition. I'm getting with it now. Go 20mm and 5mm, when lift if good (which is hasn't been recently) will give it a blast. What is your cg? I'm thinking moving back from 75, what are you at?

Well , its a good question ,

Its about 72 mm for normal light wind use , anything under 15 mph ,
If its over that a 20 pence piece in front of the battery takes it to 68 , which will get you out in upto 45 mph .

Remember though , if you put the CoG more forward it needs more throws , so get your Ele to the max with the CoG that far up , i gotta say though . They look so Sweet when they are all nose forward going like sheet off a shoovel.

Worth a play in good winds , maybe back at 75 for Thermaling , but personally ive never seen anything show Thermals as well as the Speedo . Its wing just twitches so evidently that you cant miss em . but thats at 72mm

Agreed. The thermalling performance is just great. So easy to spec out. In nothing!  I'll leave it at 75 for now and try the aero condition.

To be fair, if it's end-on you can spec it out 50' away. ;)

Oh, hang on - it isn't 'fly it like you borrowed it, land it like you stole it', is it!
So that's where I've been going wrong...

To be fair it's not that hard to see IMO. At least as visible as some smaller mouldies. Only downside is the orientation red and red us pretty hard to see, I've been upside down heading into the slope before without knowing it a few times.

Yes, I put big white stripes on the bottom of my wings. Which hid the servo covers quite nicely too...

I must be having a senior moment....rudder? Do you mean the vert stab? Boiling water usually softens glass fibre up enough to be able to give it a twist, have some cold on standby to pour over as it might creep back slightly as it cools. Easy to over do it and bend too far.

Sorry, my bad - yes, I mean the vertical stab, where a rudder would be if it were there...

Hot water did the trick, and I only needed a tiny amount. I've fixed plenty of dents in the Topsky's wing in the past, but I wasn't sure about how it'd work for a more solid piece of molded fiberglass.

Happyface.

Yellow version has white underside (mine did anyway) I added red vinyl stripes

Ok, this isn't funny, who's moved my sense of humour?
