I've seen an Alex fly at rhossili. Tbh I was not that impressed. Better ways to spend that sort of $$ IMO.

That's a b*gger I'm picking my Alex uip tonight  :-\

Oops... Ok it flew ok, but I looked a bit wimpy on rhossili. They are skinny. On rhossili you need big stuff!

I'm sure you like it. Good luck with it!

4.neither would I..I mean cyno the joiner out of the wing..ie wiping the cyno over it..let it dry then sand to a tight fit and leave in one side.

And whatever you do, when spreading the cyno, don't use tissue on an index finger........unless you really do want a wad of tissue stuck to your finger for two days, and 3rd degree burns  :embarassed: ;D ;D

Don't sweat it, it's a good plane, just wasn't my thing....they get rave reviews across the pond (called the Spyder) check out RCGroups...
It's tough too, it's just too skinny (or also read as drag minimum airframe)for my personal tastes, but then again I'm a chubby chaser as far as gliders go ;D

Where has all the BLOODY wind gone?

They are the typical mouldie. Skinny, low drag etc. At that its probably a good choice. Looks and flys like every other the average 2m mouldie. Great at its job.

But if you want a ship, get something else. Like a 5m vortex, alpina or big scalie.

How about getting some ballast in an alex ?
Due to the limited fuse space you cant get much in there.

Today Matthew I am going to be wing section MH32.

should be okay if it is an XL.
Even the mini you could put a ballast tube under the wing seat that loads from the centre.

I went for the V Tail, just because that was the only tail style he had in the Orange ( I'm a sucker for a pretty plane)
