Gents,

The fabulous RAFMAA Scampton Warbirds is going to take place again next year, most likely on the weekend 21/22 April.

I just need an idea of how much support this will get before I tie the date down.

The format shall be as before, the only difference being that I'm a Civvy now and have called upon Matt Holmes to organise the event as he's still in the mob.

Please get back to me soonest so I can start sending the invites out.  Please PM me if you need any further info.

Cheers,

Dan :uk:

Hi Garry,

Civvy street is kind of dull, but that's probably more to do with being retired...for now!  Put me down for the KAF Fly-in, I'l see if I can get a couple of BOL Launchers for my Beast!

Had a minor hitch with dates, we don't want to clash with Barkston so the choice is 31 Mar/1 Apr or 21/22 Apr.  Decision will be made by the end of next week.  Let me know what you think. Choice between completely clear earlier dates with cooler weather and post Easter with potential clashes with other events.

Thanks,

Danny,

Any weekend you pick couldn't be cooler than the Barkson Christmas bash (fanatastic by the way) and as the weather typically seems to go down hill from April these days I'd be tempted for earlier rather than later.

Doesn't matter when it is for me though because,  like the Scarborough and Goff events, it's an absolute must :af

Hi Dan,
I personally think the weekend after my do (Barkston warbirds April14/15)  April 21/22 would be best, then people who have attented Barkston, and going to Scampton, can leave their trailer/caravan with us like before to save towing it back to Lincolnshire  the following weekend $%&  Just a thought.
Add me to your list, when date settled.

P.S There is a good review of this year's Barkston warbirds in the latest out Flying Scale Models mag.

Cheers Richard.
