There is absolutely no reason why helis can't be flown at the Warbirds, they just have to be military scale.

It has been decided to hold the event on the 21/22 April.

Apologies to those who could only make the earlier date.

I would like you to PM me with the following details for each member who would like to visit;

Full Name
Address
Vehicle Reg, Make and Model.
Flyer or Helper/Spectator
Aircraft
Accommodation Plans (camping, caravan, off-site, etc.)

It would be great if those of you who may be able to assist in providing raffle prizes would let me know, as always this event is primarily focused on raising money for charity.

The entry fee will be discussed at the next planning meeting and will be published soon, I expect it to be similar to previous.

If anyone knows of other who don't use this site, please direct them to this info or to me direct.

Any questions, please don't hesitate to PM me, I can provide further contact details if you ask but don't want to put phone numbers, etc, directly on here.

Hi There,

There is an opportunity for you to camp in a tent or caravan on the airfield, however the only facilities that are provided are Portaloos; there will be no showers, washing facilities, etc.  There is also no shop or pub within the confines of the airfield, so please bring sufficient supplies to last the weekend, although the nearest village with all the normal facilities is about four miles away.

If you have not attended before please PM me for further details and to help me sort out your admission and access.  Please remember, RAFMAA Warbirds is held at RAF Scampton, a real live RAF station, complete with all of the expected restrictions and security you should expect when operating within a military establishment.

As with all previous events, this is an invitation only event, so if we don't personally know you or can establish who you are then you will not be invited, I will vet everyone against previous lists and I will contact anyone I don't recognise.

Whether you are camping on site or not.
Whether you can contribute to the raffle
The type of models you are intending to bring
The names of anyone who will be travelling with you

Remember, all attendees must be able to provide proof of ID and must be registered with myself prior to the event.  You will only be able to fly at the event if you can bring proof of adequate insurance, BMFA or otherwise.
