I thought I knew how to do "everything" on my FF9 but I've run into a problem.

I've set up my latest monster 6m glider with dual elevators run on channels 2 and 8 using a mix with channel 2 as master and Aux2 as slave.  Everything works fine including trim but when I set up butterfly the elevator compensation only moves channel 2 - ie one side of the elevator does not move when I operate butterfly.
I've switched "link" on and off but it makes no difference (not sure what that does really?)

Anyone any idea how to make it work?

Thanks Simon - this is pretty urgent cos I wanted to maiden it tomorrow!

I don't think this will help you but I had exactly the same problem when I used the campac set up on a standard Tx to transfer the memory across to a super Tx.
Even Futaba could not explain why. The solution was to program the plane on the super starting from scratch.

By any chance have you done this and transferred memory from one to the other by campac?

I've just set up a model with twin elev servos (powering one large surface). Although I wasn't having the problem you seem to be, I did change it when I saw that the Futaba faqs recommend using the Ailevator function for doing this (which again uses Channels 2 and 8; you set the Ail parts of the mix to zero). Might help?

The problem I was worried about was the glitching at power on which seemed to affect the servos differently - not good when they're hooked up to only one surface. I eventually (I hope!) cured that one by reading the re-binding instructions properly!

I haven't done any transfer between a STD and a super tranny but I did start with a prior set up and modify it so I might try starting from scratch to see if that helps.

To the other poster tht function is not available on a glider programme so i cant do that but thanks anyway

That is very clever and worked like a charm - many thanks!

The way I tried to do it should have worked with "link" on I would have thought so perhaps it's a glitch in the software.
