Just taken another tail belt off, worn out with broken plies, hanging in on stretchy rubber.  THREE places on this belt!

I'm careful not to exceed tension or allow slip, and I don't bash the tail.  This one had actually gone so stretchy it had turned over!

I have used clone belts and "genuine" TRex, no difference in life.  This is on TWO models.

I know I fly them a LOT, but this seems silly, is there a better belt type I'm missing out on??

Remove the rear "jockey" wheel from the rear gearbox, your excessive wear issue with disappear.

And yes, I have done this myself, with no issue.

You still need to check your belt regularly, as they still need replacing, but only occasionally.

Put some silicon oil on the belt, it helps with the cross over point friction and static.

Have you tried torque tube? No more belt.

Mind you I've zinged a few gears before.

How about something like Belt Dressing, available from car accs shops etc?

Ok, this isn't funny, who's moved my sense of humour?
